
Show Cause Notification and Disclosure - March 30, 2022
SHOW CAUSE NOTIFICATION AND DISCLOSURE
Please be informed that Premiere Career College (PCC) has received a show cause directive from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) on March 22, 2022, and has directed to disclose this decision to all current and prospective students from all programs of the institution. Notification to ABHES is required for an adverse or probationary equivalent action placed upon an institution or program by a recognized accrediting agency, state approval agency, or federal regulatory agency (Chapter III, Section B, Subsection 4, Notifications). Premiere Career College did not provide notification to ABHES regarding BVNPT’s decision to revoke approval for the Vocational Nursing program.
This action requires the school to provide a proposed teach out plan for the following programs:
Financial Records Processing- Diploma
General Office Assistant/Business Computer Applications -Diploma
Hospital Central Service Technician - Diploma
Medical Assistant - Front Office-Diploma
Medical Assistant - Front/Back Office-Diploma
RN-BSN- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Surgical Technician-Diploma
Surgical Technology-Associate of Occupational Science
The current grant of accreditation continues through February 28, 2025 and the teach out plan is not executed for the above programs.
PCC Administration must discontinue the Vocational Nursing program based on the BVNPT decision outlined below. PCC is dedicated to assisting all students and will work with Vocational Nursing students to transfer to a comparable approved and accredited program within the area.
The Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), at its February 18, 2022 meeting, rendered the following decisions:
Revoke the provisional approval of Premiere Career College Vocational Nursing Program, effective immediately, and
Remove the program from the Board’s list of Approved Vocational Nursing Schools effective February18, 2022

Our admission, academic, and financial offices shall provide details and procedures on how to obtain necessary information and assistance.
Student records, both academic and financial, will be maintained and accessible from the Registrar’s Office located at 12901 Ramona Blvd. Irwindale, CA 91706.
